Leesburg Kiwanis Sponsor Town's 58th Anual Hallowen Parade -

On Saturday, October 31, parading down King Street in the heart of Leesburg at 6 PM will go over 220 different police, fire, and rescue units, bands, floats, equestrian units, and more. Children of all ages line the 1-mile route to collect candy provided by the participating units. Many who come to watch take non-perishable food items to donate to Loudoun Interfaith Relief--just in time for the busy holiday season. See Events for complete information.

Walk About America to Raise Money for Cancer Research -

Eric Latham walked nearly 3,591 miles over 206 days from Nag's Head, North Carolina to San Francisco in 2005 and raised over $21,000 for cancer research. This evening at our meeting he shared stories about his Walk About America and the people he met along the way, especially brave cancer survivors very young to very old. It was an inspiring meeting for our guests from the Arlington Kiwanis Club and several prospective members!
